I’ll complete Amosun’s uncompleted projects —Odunsi

ABEOKUTA—The governorship candidate of Social Democratic Party, SDP, Senator Akin Odunsi has pledged that all uncompleted road projects embarked upon by Governor Ibikunle Amosun would be completed by his administration if elected.

Odunsi who was flanked by his running mate, Prince Segun Adesegun at Ijebu-Igbo Central Mosque, where he observed his Jumat service before he continued his campaign which spread to Ijebu-East Local Government Area, also promised that his government  would make teachers’ welfare  paramount.

Meantime, no fewer than 1,000 members of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, and All Progressives Congress, APC, have defected to the SDP, at Sagamu and Remo North Local Government, Ogun State.

Receiving them at Ita-Oba in Sagamu and Isara Motor Park, in Remo North the state chairman of SDP, Chief Olu Agemo, assured them of equal treatment, saying that in SDP, there’s no preferential treatment for any group or anyone in the party.

He said: “In our party, we espouse the ideals of democracy, among which are equity, justice and fair play. Everyone in in SDP enjoys equal treatment and opportunities. No preferential treatment for anyone or group.”

In his remarks, the deputy governor, Prince Segun Adesegun, said that he passed through hell in Amosun’s administration, saying, that Amosun brought in technocrats and favoured his family members against the masses that voted him in.
