It isn’t so clear whether Shirley Igwe did any sexual or sensual scene or not in the movie but it seems when it comes to interpreting roles the former face of Delta soap is a stickler for detail and perfection. It doesn’t matter to her if the scene is sexual or not, if she decides to take the role, for her, the goods must be delivered.

“If you’re going to do a sex scene, do it well, don’t do it half-baked because it’s going to annoy the audience. If you’re going to strip, strip. If you’re not going to strip, don’t. I can act as a stripper but one thing I wouldn’t do is go nude” she told our reporter.

The actress further reaffirmed her earlier statement in an interview with Vanguard that she is still waiting for a man to propose marriage to her, adding that the marriage proposal she once had never worked out. But the question is, has she set too high a standard for herself?

“No, funny enough, my standards are not too high. I just need someone who would understand me. Someone like me, when I drive out and I don’t have so many thoughts on my head, that’s what I call understanding. If I get someone who understands me, he would just believe I’m safe wherever I am”.

On the issue of celebrity crush, the actress admitted she used to have a crush on Majid Michel. “Of course, everyone has crushes but I’m not crushing on anyone now. I’ve crushed on Majid before; I was like, oh my God, where did he come from?” she says.
