Kenneth Okolie has described working with Shirley Igwe and Yvonne Jegede as wonderful but the most interesting statement he made to Potpourri was the one concerning his celebrity crush. The former Mr Nigeria and first runner-up Mr World blatantly admitted he used to have a crush on Nse Ikpe-Etim and Ufuoma Ejenobor, adding that the crush for Ufuoma has never dissipated.

“I had a crush on Nse Ikpe Etim and I had a crush on Ufuoma Ejenobor. But I think I still have a crush on Ufuoma till now” he said.

The actor made more revelations concerning his acting career, saying he never planned to be an actor.

“My passion for acting kind of grew as a sudden love; I didn’t plan to be an actor. It happened when I did a monologue for a talent at the Mr. World pageant where I had to do something. I said, okay, let me just act and that grew and from there I said to myself that I could do it Then I had people I actually admired in the industry; Desmond Elliot, Ramsey Nouah, Ini Edo, I enjoyed their acting and I was like, it would be nice to work with these people. I went for an audition and my first one was with Olamide Marore, he’s a Hollywood actor and also a producer and director; he came down to shoot a movie here and went back. The second audition was with Emem Isong; she now gave me a bigger platform to do more jobs with her. From there, I met the likes of Desmond Elliot that I admired; I met Ini Edo that I admired and more of these celebrity top actors as well so it has been very fulfilling for me” he said.
