ASABA—A former governorship aspirant in Delta State, Chief Michael Uwaka, has called for support for the re-election of President Goodluck Jonathan and the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, governorship candidate in Delta State, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa in the general elections.

He also urged total support for the PDP candidates in the state and in Ndokwa nation.

Speaking during a rally in Otagba Ogbe, Ndokwa West Local Government Area of the state, Uwaka explained that, after the PDP primaries, he congratulated the eventual winner, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, stressing that the emergence of Okowa was the best thing for the party as it will benefit the Ndokwa people in particular and Delta State in general.

Also speaking, the Director General of Uwaka Campaign Organization, Chief Ifeanyi Edeme, said that the PDP has performed well in the areas of infrastructural development in all sectors and assured that the party will come out victorious in the coming elections.
