Delta Democratic Alliance, DDA, has described the erstwhile chieftain and governorship aspirant of All Progressives Congress, APC, Chief Fidelis Tilije, as a big catch for Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in Delta State.

Director-General of the group, Sunday Onyewonsa, described Chief Tilije as a political personality whose support base cuts across ethnic divides in the state. He stated further that with Tilije in PDP, victory was sure for the party’s governorship candidate, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa.

Onyewonsa said: “However, Tilije must be allowed to put his strength to work as a generally accepted politician, who enjoys the goodwill of the people.”

It will be recalled that Tilije was a three-time running mate to Chief Great Ogboru on the platform of Democratic Peoples Party, DPP, before he joined APC.
