LAGOS—The Senator representing Lagos West Senatorial District, Senator Ganiyu Solomon, has called on Lagosians to cast their votes for the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode, saying that it was imperative to sustain the posterity and massive development “put in place in the past 15 years by the APC government in Lagos.”

Speaking at an event organised by pensioners of Lagos State, Senator Solomon, said Lagos needs a financial expert such as Ambode to keep her on the path of excellence.

The event had in attendance over 1,000 pensioners, who said that the verbosity of the main opposition cannot save them because action speaks louder than words.

According to him, “Lagos will benefit greatly from the 27 years experience of Mr. Ambode in governance, 13 years of which was in the various local governments of Lagos State and the remaining years in the mainstream of the civil service.”
