ENUGU — Former Senate President, Ken Nnamani, has declared that Enugu State chapter of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, had so many enemies within.

Describing such people as black legs and worst enemies of the party, Nnamani said “they are PDP members in the daytime but work and finance other political parties in the night.”

He made the declaration at Enugu-South Local Government Area of Enugu State at the party’s campaign rally.

“They are many; so many people; they will claim to be supporting PDP in the daytime but in the night they are involved in all kinds of anti-party activities. We should be mindful of such people,” he advised.

On some former members of the party who defected to opposition parties after losing primary election, he said, “don’t be deceived by those who say they have agreement with PDP. PDP has no subsidiary; PDP is not affiliated to any other political party.”

He urged members of the party to remain loyal, maintaining that he showed political courage when he was the Senate President, refusing money.

“That’s why other people have the opportunity to serve today,” Nnamani said.

He told the people of Enugu State not to waste their votes on another party, insisting that “if you don’t support PDP but vote for all these mushroom parties, it will be a wasted vote. Any vote that is not cast for PDP is a wasted vote.”
