Eaton vows to drive energy growth in Nigeria

Eaton, a United States power management company said it is out to drive energy growth in Nigeria’s emerging economy.

The company’s West Africa Sales Manager, Electrical Sector Mr. Charles Iyo, stated this at its inaugural West Africa Technology Day, held in Lagos to showcase the company’s solutions. These solutions cover five industry segments – Oil and Gas, Data Centre and IT, Mining, Electrical Utilities, Solar and Wind.

He said that the economic growth of Nigeria depended on developing technologies that will solve the country’s power challenges.

According to him, “The emergence of Nigeria as an economic power-house is dependent on developing innovative technologies to solve our country’s toughest power management challenges.

“Our vision is to establish Eaton as one of the premier power management companies in the region providing customized, innovative solutions that enable our Nigerian and West African customers to use electrical, fluid and mechanical power more reliably, efficiently, safely and sustainably.”
