Abuja – The National Under-23 (Dream Team VI) will play top rated Nigeria National League (NNL) outfit, Kogi United in a friendly match in Abuja on Tuesday.
Timi Ebikagboro, the Dream Team’s Media Officer, made this known in Abuja on Monday.
He said the match would likely be the last tune up game before the team travels out for the All African Games qualifier against Gabon U-23.
He also said the match, slated for the Abuja National Stadium at 4p.m. would enable the Samson Siasia-led team to test the foreign professionals invited for the qualifiers in Libreville.
“The friendly against Kogi United is needed as it will help to get the best out of the players that were invited.
“We want to have a top rated and organised team that will give us a tough match and will help to access the boys we want to use for the Gabon match.
“We believe Kogi United can give us such a challenge”, he said.
The Dream Team VI will be taking on their Gabonese counterparts in the first leg of the All African Games qualifier on Saturday in Libreville. (NAN)
