Uyo—GOVERNORSHIP candidate of Accord Party AP, in Akwa Ibom State, Bishop Samuel Akpan, has reiterated his commitment to President Goodluck Jonathan’s re-election, even as he warned politicians to stop attacking him or face God’s wrath.

Bishop Akpan, who spoke at the fund raising launch and dinner organized by Jonathan Mandate Group, JOMAG, South-South zone, weekend, in Uyo, appealed to party members and supporters to condemn a situation where some politicians in the state engage in what he described as satanic behaviours for the fear of losing grip or winning elections.

He said despite the fact that he was victimized by his former party, Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, after his various contributions and efforts during the 2011 polls, he had continued to support Goodluck Jonathan’s re-election in the spirit of progress, although he found consolation in the Accord Party platform.

He said: “JOMAG is an organization in which I served as Deputy National Chairman, Board of Trustees. I also served as the Chairman, Board of Trustees, South-South zone.”
