The much anticipated movie, The Department is gradually getting lots of rave reviews from movie critics. Produced by Ink Blot productions in association with Closer Pictures, the movie parades  actors like O.C Ukeje, Desmond Elliot, Majid Michel, Osas Ighodalo, Jide Kosoko,Kenneth Okolie, Seun Akindele, Somkele Iyamah, and a host of others.

A secret organization tagged ‘The Department’ run by young professionals, blackmails top executives into selling their companies to the ‘man’ behind the Department. Two lovers, Tolu and Nnamdi, opt out of The Department and get married. They’ve broken the rule, one which The Department has refused to ignore. The pressure, intrigues, blackmail from the group, soon test their love for each other.

Speaking about the movie, OC Ukeje said he did his best to be still and controlled in playing the role. “I did my best to be still and very controlled. I played the character of a head-honcho who dishes out instructions to muscled men. I don’t have a huge frame so nobody will be afraid of me, but I had to wield the sword of authority. I did my best, it was hard but I tried.

On finally working with Ghana’s Majid Michel he said:” It was nice to finally work with Majid Michel and Osas Ighodalo. I thought it was really good opportunity to be able to harmonize with a really brilliant actor and with some of our people here in Nigeria. From the first day I heard there was a phenomenal guy in Ghana called Majid Michel, I had been yearning to work with him,” he said.
