The Chairman, Igbo Leaders of Thought, ILT, and constitutional lawyer, Prof. Ben Nwabueze yesterday warned the Independent National Electoral Commission,INEC, not to postpone the next months general elections as it will spell doom for the country.

The legal luminary tasked INEC to stay the course of the election insisting that call for a shift of the election on account of insecurity will plunge the country into a political chaos.

The ILT Chairman stated this during a press conference saying,”We believe that the best interest of Ndigbo would be better served by our people supporting the re-election of President Jonathan come February 14.
