Leaders are answerable to Allah —Akinbode

Leaders are answerable to Allah —Akinbode

The Nasru-llah-il-Fatih Society of Nigeria has said it will continue to offer prayer for peace and development of the country especially during this auspicious time of electioneering.

He noted that all leaders will be answerable to Allah, just as he prayed that those who will emerge as leaders will be kind to the people.

The National Chief Missioner of the group, Alhaji Abdullah Gbade Akinbode made this known to newsmen during the monthly prayer meeting held at NASFAT village, Mowe, Ogun State last Sunday.

Akinbode said: “We observe prayers every week, but the monthly programme is meant to create a larger congregation where all branches in various zones will congregate here and together pray for ourselves, the nation and our leaders. This is because the love of your nation is an integral part of faith. We believe that when we congregate and do what is right, Almighty Allah will always support us.”

He continued: “Prayer is the only pivot that a nation can rest upon and gets to a station of glory. A life devoid of spiritualism and morality is a satanic life.

Apart from prayer, in a gathering like this, you talk about God and you educate the masses on what to do and what not to do; inculcating the spirit of God in them.

This way, we would have helped them to follow the injunction of God and the saying of the Prophet that: “the best of you is one who is beneficial to the society and to mankind.” In other words, we are creating an environment of love and peace and harmony. That is our mission,” he stated.

The cleric urged Muslims to cast their votes during election and conduct themselves in peaceful manners after the election.
