A former acting Managing Director of Niger Delta Development Commission and founding secretary,Ijaw National Congress, Pastor Power Ziakede Aginighan, has commended the sportsmanship exhibited by all the PDP gubernatorial aspirants  in Delta State even as he congratulated the winner of the party’s primary, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa, on his victory.

“I salute all  aspirants who accepted the result as true sports men and women. I urge them to rally round Senator Okowa to ensure victory for the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) in the 2015 polls”, Aginighan said in a  statement at the weekend.

He also commended the party on the choice of running mate to Okowa. “I  commend Okowa on his choice of a running mate in the person of Mr Kingsley Otuaro among other equally competent contenders from Ijaw, Isoko and Itsekiri ethnic nationalities. I have known Otuaro as one of the most focused, brilliant and hardworking gentlemen the Ijaw nation can boast of.
