Bold and beautiful fast-rising Nollywood actress, Chelsea Edogun may have a bit of attitude about her; in her dress sense and the roles she put across in the movies.

But she is a girl who has a rule book and she goes about her life strictly by it. In a past interview with Vanguard the Biochemistry graduate of Delta State University made it clear she would never go nude at any price. When she was probed further by Encomium magazine she agreed she could do it for a billion pounds, which could very mean it’s a ‘no go’ area for her.

Responding to questions from Potpourri recently, the beautiful actress debunks the long standing notion that most actresses are runs girls. Runs girls is a local colloquial term for girls who make themselves available to men for money and gifts. In her own assertion, she says people tend to see them not for the persons they are but for the roles they play in movies.

“I would say a big ‘no’ to that notion, although actresses are always misunderstood due to their different complex roles in movies. But I will boldly tell you as an actress that we are just as dedicated as professionals in other professions. The fact that we tend to bring out our best in movie roles and try to make it look real doesn’t make us cheap but instead it makes us professionals, which I believe is everyone’s  dream to be a professional in their different fields. I strongly oppose that notion that says that actresses are runs girls because we are not” she said.
