Governorship candidate of All Progressives Congress, APC, in Rivers State, Dr. Dakuku Peterside, has promised equal opportunities for Rivers people if elected in next year’s election.

He also said that his government will go the extra mile to ensure that the fortunes of the state were changed.

Speaking at a reception organised in his honour by opinion leaders in Eleme, Rivers State, Peterside restated his commitment towards ensuring that opportunities were open to all Rivers people.

He said: “I promise equal opportunities for our people. We shall create job opportunities through massive industrialization programme and institutional support to small and medium scale businesses, SMEs. Those without means, who are interested in education, will also realise their dreams because we fully appreciate the value of human capital development. Therefore, we will go the extra mile to ensure that our people are happy and fulfilled.”
