The Ijaw national leader, Chief Edwin Clark, has been commended for his determination to ensure equity and fair play in politics of Nigeria, especially in the just concluded Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, governorship primaries in Delta State.
A former PDP governorship aspirant and member representing Aniocha/ Oshimili federal constituency, Mr Ndudi Elumelu, while acknowledging the role the elder statesman played in his bid for the governorship of Delta State, described Clark as a detribalized man, who always supports a just cause and believes in the unity of Delta State.
Acknowledging his fatherly advice during his consultation visit, Elumelu urged Clark to continue to ensure that he plays the role of a bridge builder as posterity will justify his contributions to humanity.
