LAGOS—The National Screening Committee for governorship aspirants (South West) of the All Progressives Congress, APC, has cleared the Ogun State Governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun as the candidate of the party in next year’s governorship election in the state.

Chairman of the Committee and former Governor of Gombe State, Senator Danjuma Goje, while presenting the Screening Certificate to Amosun in Lagos, revealed that only Ogun State has one candidate in the South West as at the end of sale of forms and the screening exercise.

He commended the governor for his strides since assuming the saddle of leadership in the Gateway State, saying that the governor has been screened and cleared to go into the party’s primaries.
