The councilor representing Seimbiri Ward 4, in the Burutu Local Government Legislative Arm, Mr Churchill Botu, has said that the emergence of Senator Ifeanyi Okowa as Delta State Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, governorship candidate, Senator James Manager for Delta South senatorial district and Julius Pondi for Burutu federal constituency, was a direct reflection of the wishes of the people to inject fresh air into governance in order to attract more practical development.

Botu, in Warri, said that the emergence of the trio at the different levels, was a clear demonstration of the PDP to field the best candidates through delegates for the 2015 general elections.

He added that Pondi won the Burutu federal constituency primaries because of his wide support based on his antecedents and commitment to service delivery, stressing that Burutu people will witness a new wave of robust and purposeful representation with his emergence.
