
Zik Zulu Okafor
The much talked about TV series, “Oasis”produced by Zik Zulu-Okafor in collaboration with The Incubator has finally hit the airwaves last Saturday, after premiering the previous day at Silverbird cinemas, inside Ikeja City Mall.
The 35-episode tele-novella features Beverly Naya, Moet Abebe, Tope Tedela, Segun Arinze, Monalisa Chinda, David Nnaji, Ifeanyi Williams, Mary-Jane Ugbaja, Zik Zulu Okafor amongst others.
“Oasis” which is a sequel to ‘Heaven’s Gate’ is currently showing on AIT and Africa Magic, is a story of violation, rape, loss of confidence and an unusual drama that borders on a story of change through Christ.
Speaking at premiere, Okafor said, the tele-novella was painstakingly conceived and specially written for Nigerians at home and in the diaspora.
“Oasis, is not just a soap, it is a complete family package that will educate, inform, entertain and help redirect the ill focus of our youths. It is our special gift to Nigerians who are already bored watching foreign soaps on air every day. Oasis is the new face of Nigerian entertainment on TV…”
In his brief remarks, Pastor Iluyomade representing The Incubator commended Okafor and his team for creating and producing such a wonderful and exciting soap. He called on Nigerians to learn from the good storyline of the soap, which he described as a great work of art.
