STEPHEN Keshi is still unsure whether he will remain as Super Eagles coach following Wednesday’s 2-2 draw against South Africa in Uyo.

Although he had said his fate was not tied to whether Nigeria qualified for the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations or not, his future at the helm of the Eagles’ affairs has been called into question in the wake of Nigeria’s failure to beat South Africa and book a ticket for next year’s continental fiesta in Equatorial Guinea.

Two wins and two draws in their six Group A games means the team won’t be defending the title they won in South Africa.
With no competitive action for some time, the Nigeria Football Federation have time on their side if they decide to dispense with Keshi’s services.

But Keshi wants to stay on, and is adamant he has given his all during his time in charge and that he will continue to do so if asked to remain as coach.

Nigeria were undone by a clinical South Africa side and saw their spot in the tournament taken away by Congo, who beat Sudan 1-0 to reach the finals for the first time since 2000.
