Former Chairman of Okpe and Udu Local Government areas of Delta State, Deacon Eddie Ono-Sorhue, has said that Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, governorship aspirant in the 2015 general polls, Dr. Ngozi Olejeme, was the candidate to beat in the forthcoming polls.

He said Olejeme had done more field work than all the aspirants jostling for the PDP ticket and so deserved to fly the party flag at the polls.

Deacon Ono-Sorhue, who is Chairman of Delegates Committee for the Olejeme Campaign Organisation, stated this during the 88th birthday celebration of Chief G. N. O. Sefia, Chairman, PDP Delta State Elders Council in Ovwian.

He said: “It is my candid appeal, therefore, for party leaders, officials, elders and delegates to the forthcoming PDP primaries to keep faith with Dr. Olejeme’s dream of a better, prosperous and highly improved Delta State.”
