INVESTOR and politician, Olorogun O’tega Emerhor, yesterday declared his intention to contest the 2015 governorship election in Delta State on the platform of All Progressives Congress, APC, and promised to lead the party in dislodging the ruling Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in the state.

Emerhor also announced N5 million monthly funding for Delta APC, aside allowances for the state executives and separate financial support for the party structures from the state to ward levels.

During his declaration before the party leaders who gathered at Asaba state secretariat of the APC, Emerhor said that after 16 years of democracy, Delta was ready for a change.

He said: “PDP for 16 years formed a caucus which just shared among themselves. Even at the centre, the majority have realised we need change and so we came together as different parties to form an alternate party.”
