How my cousin dragged me to studio — Doxy

By ANOZIE EGOLE

Despite his educational background in Computer Engineering, Oyatomi Dolapo Junior, aka Doxy, still feels that there is something missing as he finds much love in music.

The talented up and coming rapper has opened up on how his cousin dragged him to studio having seen the talent embedded in him.

“While I was serving in Osun state, I travelled down to see my cousin, Abolarinwa Oladele in Ibadan where I stayed for a week. While I was there, I was in the bathroom rapping, not knowing that he was outside listening to me.

After that, he forced me down to the studio, and that very day I dropped three rap songs of which Dessie Teddie was one but the other two songs where lost due to the crashed hard disk. I was rewarded then as the Best Freestyle Rap Artist by their recording label in Ibadan, Royal Revolution Studios, which is one of the best in Ibadan.”
