Why I apologised to Clark —Chief Oduaran

Chief Thomas Oduaran, an aide to Elder Godsday Orubebe, former Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, has said he tendered his apology to Ijaw leader, Chief Edwin Clark, because the elder statesman was sincere in his struggle, describing him as a genuine leader who has the interest of his people at heart.

He said he regretted co-signing a document that was sent to Economic and Finan-cial Crime Commission against Clark, promising to always identify with him.
He said: “I have also left Delta Peoples Forum, DPF, because it has no respect for the Urhobo of Delta Central.”
