
Uduaghan
The people of Abraka in Ethiope East Local Government Area of Delta State have called on Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan to, in the spirit of justice, fairness, sense of belonging and brotherliness, and correct alleged political imbalance in elective positions.
In a statement by High Chief Nath Anho, after a meeting in Abraka, the people drew the attention of the governor to the “marginalisation and drought of elective positions in Abraka,” noting that since 1999, no Abraka person had held either the chairmanship position of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, or represented the constituency at the state House of Assembly.
While endorsing the aspiration of Engr. Blessing Enamuotor to represent Ethiope East in the state House of Assembly in 2015, the people also passed a vote of confidence on Governor Uduaghan’s administration, the leadership of PDP state Chairman, Chief Peter Nwaoboshi, and the party leadership in Ethiope East.
At the meeting were Mr. Lawrence Odogho, Abraka Ward I PDP Chairman; Engr. Enamuotor, Chief Andrew Ekakitie, Chief Emmanuel Egheneji, High Chief Peter Erakpotobor, Chief Sunny Ogune, Chief Julius Ogboru, Cheif Skinn Ogboru, Mr. Emmanuel Idogho, Mrs Grace Ughwumiakpo, Mrs Victoria Obukowho and Madam Onome Onoko, among others.
