2015: PPA moves to identify genuine members

By Vincent Ujumadu

Awka—THE Progressives Peoples Alliance, PPA, in Anambra State, vowed yesterday that it would not allow its members to be used and dumped as was done to it in the previous elections.

Addressing members of the caretaker committees for the 21 local government areas of the state at the party’s secretariat in Awka, the state leader of the party and its candidate in the last governorship election, Mr. Godwin Ezeemo, said PPA had decided to start on a clean slate to identify genuine members of the party.

According to him, each local government will have five persons, who would in turn, co-opt other members from the 326 wards in the state to register new members and urged those who wanted to belong to register with the party.
