Ogun pilgrims urged to comply with rules

Pilgrims from Ogun State have been admonished to ensure strict compliance to all the rules and regulations guiding the Hajj exercise for it to be counted worthy of acceptance by Almighty Allah.

The Ogun State Amir-ul-hajj for the 2014 hajj exercise, Imam Abdul-Qudri Junaid stated this while leading the third batch of pilgrims recently, to perform Sihara in the city of Madinah.

Imam Junaid noted that as representatives of the State, all pilgrims must ensure strict  compliance to all the rules and regulations guiding the Hajj exercise, noting that their welfare would be of utmost priority at all times.

He charged them to continuously pray for the success of the present administration under the leadership of Governor Ibikunle Amosun, in its drive towards rebuilding the State, and for the peace and development of Nigeria in general.

Various Holy Sites visited by the pilgrims included  Mosque of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW) (Masji- al Nabawi Madinah Haram), (Musji-dil-Cubba) the first Mosque of the Holy Prophet (SAW), Mount Jabalil-Hutt also known as Jabalitoro,( Mosjid-kiblahtain) the first direction to face while praying before the new location of the khabba, and Dharul-Sallam among others.

The last batch of Pilgrims’ from Ogun State are expected to join their counterparts arrive in Saudi Arabia before the end of the week.
