LAGOS—A crack team of Police detectives from the monitoring unit of the office of the Inspector-General of Police, IGP,  Abuja, has submitted the report of its findings in the un-ending feud between 14 communities within Lagos-Ogun boundary in the outskirts of Ikorudu.

In the report submitted to the IG by team leader, A. Mammah and the Police team noted that there were series of petitions that had taken the warring factions from Imota Police Station in Ikorodu, Lagos to state CID, Panti and eventually to the office of IGP.

The report absolved three businessmen, Alhaji Mutairu Owoeye, Chief Hakeem Alabi, and one Eleda of allegations of behaving in a manner likely to cause breach of peace, unlawful possession of fire- arms and murder.

The 14 communities include Adeekun Lambo, Lasunmon, Teele, Ewujebe, Ilu-Oloye, ewumi, Oke-Arobi, Illisa oba, Lire, Aro Ofoly, Salagberu, Tile-Tile, Igboasoro, Oke-Ibu, Oloride, all in Ogun State, as well as Jaajo, Oke-Agbo in Lagos State.
