AWKA—A group, Peoples Democratic Party Mandate Frontiers, PDPMF, has expressed its support for former Aviation Minister, Princess Stella Oduah, to represent Anambra North senatorial district in the Senate in 2015.
The group in a statement signed by Chief David Umeh and Ike Ogu, said it was throwing its weight behind Princess Oduah to enable the district get quality representation in the Senate next year.
“We have started the winning strategy to the Senatorial seat for the former Aviation Minister, Princess Oduah by mobilizing through voter education in the seven local governments, 99 electoral wards in the zone that will ensure victory for the party and its candidates in the 1,392 polling units in the senatorial zone,” it said.
The group said it had held series of meetings and looked at the performance of political leaders in the area to arrive at the choice of the former minister.
“We have been giving support to genuine members of PDP; we have been on ground since 2007 with the goal of ensuring that the party comes back in the state as a major platform to deliver to our people those democratic dividends which have eluded the people of Anambra State.
