Grenadines Homes Limited, a leading real estate company in Nigeria, has taken another bold move towards boosting home ownership in Nigeria with the formal commencement of the process for the construction of a new set of homes at Katape in Abuja, the nation’s Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

To this end, the firm has engaged the services of two reputable construction companies, Cubic Contractors and CPMS, to construct and manage the project respectively the new Katampe housing estate.

The first class quality homes are expected to serve as a major solution in meeting the growing demand of Nigerians who are desirous of descent shelter as well as the need to escape the rent trap when completed.

Speaking at the handover ceremony to the contractors in Lagos last week, the Managing Director, Grenadines Homes Limited, Mrs. Noimot Olatunji, said the 25-unit luxury estate is the latest addition to the growing list of home ownership initiatives the company has launched over the years.

She said the Abuja estate aligned with the vision of the company in empowering Nigerians to meet one of the critical components in man’s hierarchy of needs which is shelter.

“Shelter is one of the most important things every man, woman or family thinks of first after food. This project is therefore strategic because it speaks to that critical need in the life of every human being.

We are convinced that the launch of this new estate would afford prospective home owners great opportunity to own their own homes more so in an enchanting neighbourhood that is a little removed from the hustle and bustle of the city centre of the FCT”, Olatunji said.

She added that Grenadines Resort Katampe, Abuja, would comprise well finished and furnished terrace duplexes and complimentary amenities that make bold statement about luxury living.

On his part, the Construction Manager, Cubic Contractors Limited, Mr. Majid Mulani, said his firm was pleased to be part of the project, and assured that the company would bring its experience to bear in ensuring excellent service delivery across all the phases of the project.

He further assured prospective home owners that the company would deliver houses as well as maintain best global practices from the beginning to the end of the project.

Also speaking, the Project General Manager, CPMS, Mrs. Nike Lanre-Ladenegan, said as the the project manager, the company would ensure the delivery of a quality estate at the agreed duration of the project.

She stated that the firm is knowledgeable in all aspects of building construction while assuring that CPMS would coordinate the activities of all parties involved in the construction process to ensure an effective synergy and timely delivery of the houses. “We will ensure that quality is not compromised. This project will be delivered at the agreed time”, she said.
