UGHELLI —  CONVENER of Delta United for Tony Obuh, Chief Ayiri Emami, has said that the group was working for the actualisation of the 2015 presidential ambition of President Goodluck Jonathan and governorship aspiration of Mr. Tony Obuh respectively.

Speaking at a meeting of the group hosted by a member of Delta State House of Assembly, Mr. Efe Ofobruku, representing Uvwie constituency, Emami urged President Jonathan to declare his intention without further delay.

Noting that Jonathan should not return home should he fail to contest the 2015 presidential election, he said the group was resolute in its decision to ensure victory for Jonathan and Obuh.

Enjoining Deltans to market the duo of Jonathan and Obuh in their respective communities, Emami said: “We want to ensure that the legacies of Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan are sustained.

“We need a governor that will complete all projects that Uduaghan may not be able to complete by 2015 and the only man that can do that is Tony Obuh. Beyond that, it is only proper for Delta North to also have a taste of the governorship; Central and South have taken their turns.”
Olorogun Taleb Tebite, Chief Monday Igbuya and a host of others, who also spoke at the meeting, reiterated their support for the project.
