After months of consultations and human re-engineering, the stage is finally set for the unveiling of the umbrella body of all Igbo organizations, named Ndigbo United Peoples Assembly.

In a statement made available to newsmen in Lagos,  the Assembly’s spokesman, Mr. Ambrose Njoku said the unveiling will take place in Enugu, South East Nigeria. Njoku said, the final date of the unveiling will be chosen by the Board of Trustees of NUPA at a meeting to be held in Lagos to ratify the recommendations of the Unveiling Committee headed by Barr. Marcel Ali, two time  Commissioner in Ebonyi State.

“The BOT of Ndigbo United Peoples Assembly ( NUPA ) will meet to approve the recommendations of the Unveiling Committee of the Assembly set up by Stakeholders to fashion out modalities for the Unveiling of this unique organization.

The date of the unveiling will be finally set by the BOT and the unveiling will be at Enugu, South East Nigeria,” the statement read.
