Isoko group advocates sensitisation of electorate

By Festus Ahon

UGHELLI—CHAIRMAN of Isoko Political Congress, IPC, Chief A. Okpakpor, has called for the sensitisation of electorate to ensure mass participation and the emergence of credible candidates in the 2015 general elections.

Okpakpor spoke when a rights activist, Dr. Ogaga Ifowodo visited him in his Otor-Iyede country home to intimate him of his intention to vie for the House of Representatives seat for the Isoko constituency.
He said IPC cuts across all political parties with over 50,000 members spread across the 19 clans in Isokoland.
He said the group was poised to galvanise the Isoko people politically by providing full backing and required support to credible candidates with proven integrity aspiring for elective positions in the 2015 general elections.
