Matthew Willsher confirmed as Etisalat CEO

THE Board of Directors of Etisalat Nigeria last week, announced the appointment of Matthew Charles Willsher as its new Chief Executive Officer.

Willsher has held the position of Chief Commercial Officer and Acting Chief Executive Officer since August 2013 after replacing previous CEO, Steven Evans. Under a year of his leadership, Etisalat stakeholders said that Wilsher has led the company to record over 20% growth in customer base, even as spend per customer and strengthening of margins, have all increased.
