Network for Good Governance, N4GG, has thrown its weight behind the clamour for President Goodluck Jonathan to seek a second term in office, even as it has declared support for Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan’s senatorial ambition.
Appealing to both leaders to contest the 2015 general elections, in a communiqué after its caucus meeting in Calabar, Cross Rivers State, Country Director of the group, Chief Sunny Onuesoke, noted that Jonathan’s administration had diligently implemented agenda for national transformation in priority areas, which include power, rehabilitation and expansion of national infrastructure and agriculture, among others.
The group said that despite 1.6 million new jobs created in the country in 2013 as a result of Joanathan’s government policies and actions, the President had promised the creation of more jobs to support the country’s growing population.
