MASSOB slams APGA chair

By Emma Amaize

WARRI—THE Movement for the Actualisation of the Sovereign State of Biafra, MASSOB, Delta South senatorial district, Delta State, yesterday, criticised the national chairman of All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, Chief Victor Umeh, for allegedly painting the group in bad light.

MASSOB’S zonal leader, Mr. Joseph Odikpo, in a statement in Warri, said: “We want him (Umeh) to be rest assured that the group’s national leader, Chief Ralph Uwazurike, does not lack focus as he claimed.

“Those who told him lies were the ones that could not abide by our regulations and were suspended from the movement.”

He advised the APGA leader to focus on his political ambition and leave MASSOB alone, saying “the non-violent posture of the body should not be taken for granted.

“We are a non-violent group fighting for our legal right and nothing more. From the beginning of the struggle, MASSOB made public its aims and objectives, which is to actualise Biafra.”
