Popular Nigerian artiste, Dapo Oyebanjo, a.k.a D’banj has introduced artistes under his new DB records label. which includes himself, his younger brother K-Switch, brothers MossKriss and Ralph Kriss and the popular actress turned musician, Tonto Dikeh.

The only lady among the crew, Tonto, who shares the same birthday, June 10th with D’Banj, has achieved remarkable success in Nollywood over the years, and took a plunge into music production, recording, and publishing.

Though some of her songs like ‘Hi’, ‘Jeje’, have received negative critics from Nigerians. With much speculations about her record label deal, there have been mixed reactions to the move.

Many are of the opinion that Tonto was not recruited for her musical dexterity, but as a PR stunt to DB Records. She stands to gain fairly good number of advantages, as she will now have unfettered access to the production abilities of 2Kriss and DeeVee, as well as the mentor-ship of D’banj and Kayswitch. So what next for her? A collaboration with D’banj?
