BENIN—FOLLOWING the defection of loyalists of the former South-South Vice Chairman of  All Progressives Congress, APC, in Edo State, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu to Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, the APC in the state has said that they wished them well in the “lion’s den.”

According to the interim state Publicity Secretary of the party, Mr. Godwin Erhahon, “We wish them well and we wish them safe journey to the lion’s den. And because they are seasonal birds, we are sure we are parting to meet again. They will come back in the next season.

“I congratulate Governor Adams Oshiomhole for the major relief and assure the people of Edo State that they stand to benefit from the exit of these people. We wish them well.”
