Golden Eaglets in jubilant mood
Golden Eaglets have been issued a code of conduct and warned to adhere strictly to camp rules .
The team welcomed new recruits who scaled through the screening hurdle as well as proper documentation following almost one month of intensive exercise.
At a brief ceremony, both old and new players were advised to be guided with camping rules as regards timing; feeding; sleeping hours; friendship; respect; hard work; proper use of telephone; good personal hygiene and appearance amongst others.
Head coach Emmanuel Amuneke (MON), reiterated that the players were picked based on merit and must, therefore continue to work hard to justify their inclusion in the team.
”I want to remind you that this is a national team set up which is quite different from what you are used to in your various academies and home,” said the 1994 African Footballer of the Year winner.
”We don’t want you to have the impression that you have made it after the screening but to see your selection as a new challenge for you and work harder in the days ahead.
