‘APC has no structure in Delta’

By FESTUS AHON

UGHELLI— DIRECTOR-General of Otive Igbuzor Organisation, Mr. Tive Danedo, yesterday, said the All Progressives Congress, APC, structure in Delta State was built on faulty foundation and cannot win elections in the state.

Reacting to a media report credited to the Chairman of the Ughelli North Local Government Area chapter of the party, Olorogun Felix Ekure, Danedo in a statement, said: “Ekure should relate to the world how he was imposed on the party in Ughelli North through strong arm tactics and intimidation of his opponents.

“Ekure did not participate in the congress of even his own Agbarha ward. We challenge Ekure to provide a list of the delegates that attended both the council and state congresses. There are no elements of ANPP, ACN and CPC in the congress executives. APC will collapse sooner than later.”

Reacting, Olorogun Ekure said there were ward, council and state congresses in the state, describing the allegations as baseless.
He said: “Danedo’s allegations are borne out of the fact that they lost in the congresses. To allege that I ran away with congress materials is laughable.

“I was in my Agbarha ward on the day of the congress and I voted like any other party member. I challenge him to come out with proof of his allegations.

“I have the video clips of every ward during the ward and council congresses. The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, officials, Department of State Service, DSS, the police were there on the day of the ward and council congresses.”
