ACF, APC condole with Sambo over brother’s death

The Arewa Consultative Forum, ACF, has described the late Capt. Sabo Sambo, brother of Vice-President Namadi Sambo, as one whose good deeds to humanity would be remembered for a long time.

The All Progressives Congress, APC, has also condoled with the Vice President on the death of his brother, expressing shock over the incident.

Sabo Sambo, brother of the vice-president died on Sunday in an automobile crash in Abuja.

The ACF, in a statement by its National Publicity Secretary, Muhammad Ibrahim, commiserated with the Vice President on the development, saying that the late Sabo proved himself as a diligent person in all his activities.

Ibrahim said:  “It was with grief and shock that ACF learnt of the death of Capt Sambo. He was on his way to Abuja International Airport for a national assignment to pilot the Nigeria Police Aircraft when he had an accident and died.

“From God we come and to Him, we shall all return. Death is the ultimate end of every mortal and life is equally transient. However, the good deeds and service to humanity done by each person shall continue to live after him.”

The APC, on its part, in a statement in Lagos by its Interim National Publicity Secretary, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, expressed shock and sadness at the death of such a vibrant personality in such a tragic circumstance.

“Death is never easy to accept, and when it is so unexpected, it adds to the grief. But the sweet memories and good deeds of the departed will always be a balm to sooth the indescribable pain of death.

‘’We sincerely sympathise with the Vice President, the immediate family of the departed as well as his extended family. We pray that God will strengthen and comfort them all in this difficult time,” it said.
