Delta State Deputy Governor, Professor Amos Utuama, SAN, has charged student union leaders in the state to use unionism to enhance the individual and collective educational advancement of their members.
Prof. Utuama, who gave the charge during the 6th inauguration ceremony and Annual Lecture of the newly elected executive of National Association of Nigerian Students, NANS and Joint Campus Committee, JCC, Delta State Axis, at Asaba, urged the executives to create a peaceful environment and always open the window of dialogue to resolve challenging issues.
His words: “In carrying out your activities, you must conduct your affairs with decorum that is befitting of being students. You are the pride of our youths, therefore you must carry yourselves with dignity and grace in order to show that you are students.”
