Enemali Ojochenemi Hannah, known by the stage name ‘Diva Ice’ is a petite, beautiful girl with a vocal strength that would stir the emotions of even the vegetated minds.

She is from Kogi State and only recently graduated from Lead City University Ibadan, where she read Mass Communications. She says music is her passion, adding  that much could be felt from her voice which resonates with a smooth vibration of Chidinma, the eloquence and dexterity of Tiwa Savage with demure attitude and serenity of Omawumi.

Tell us about your educational background!

I’m a graduate of Lead City University Ibadan, where I studied Mass Communication. I had my Primary and Secondary school education in Port – Harcourt and Kaduna respectively.

Why did you decide to go into music instead of pursuing a career in broadcasting or journalism?

Music for me, is a passion, it’s an integral part of me  and I can’t do without it. I choose to go into music because it’s what I enjoy doing and its also part of my field of study.

At what stage did you realise that you would be doing music professionally?

My father had always supported my music because he was also a music person. But I started doing music professionally in 2008, after my Diploma programme in the University of Jos.

Have you released any album or working on one?

I don’t have an album at the moment, but I am working tirelessly on it.

What’s the title?

I don’t have a title at the moment. But I hope to do so very  soon.

How many tracks?

Not sure how many tracks will be on it yet.

Who produced your job?

I worked with different producers and artistes from Kaduna, Ibadan and Lagos. I have worked with Dollars, Infinity,T.K. Tpiano and many others.

Have you done collaboration with any ariste?

Not yet but I’m working on it.

Do you think you have what it takes to survive in the Nigeria’s music Industry?

Yes, I have God and I have determination. That’s all I think I need.

What’s your opinion about the Nigeria Music Industry?

I think the Nigeria’s music industry is doing great. Except for the fact that their videos are becoming very promiscuous and vain. Besides, I see nothing stopping the industry from becoming the best in the world.

What’s your next plan of action?

My next move is to come up with an album for my fans and to let them know what I have to offer.

What inspires your music?

Everything around me inspires my music; love, money and things that also happen around me inspire me.

Tell us about the shows and tours you‘ve had so far?

As an upcoming artiste I haven’t really had any major shows. But I have had minor shows in Kaduna, Abuja and  Lagos. I have performed at “Night of a Thousand Laughs’ as well as Valentine Day shows.

Have you launched any of your jobs?

No, I haven’t, but I’m  planning to do so as soon as all my songs are complete.

Who is your is your biggest influence in the industry both  locally and internationally?

Internationally, my biggest influence is Beyonce and Keri – Hilson. Locally, my number one  mentor is Tiwa Savage.

What are the challenges you  face during recording sessions?

Wow! It’s a huge challenge because most times it is not easy to deliver when you‘re not in the right mood and more often than not you get distractions.

What additional skills do you possess that would give you an edge over  other artistes?

I think I have a bit of everything an artiste could boast of, meaning I have  a touch of every musician or artiste I know, to come up something unique, different and original.
