Police foil N50m robbery attempt in Sagamu

ABEOKUTA— The Ogun State Police Command, on Sunday, said it killed two suspected armed robbers and arrested one, while they attempted to rob a man of his N50 million at Sagamu in the state.

The Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, in the state, Muyiwa Adejobi, in a statement said: “A Special Anti-Robbery Squad in the state led by Superintendent of Police Mohammed Tijani on Friday, March 14, engaged some suspected armed robbers, who came from Anambra State,  in a fierce gun duel in GRA Area Sagamu, Ogun State at 8pm.”
