BENIN—THE Edo State Government has forwarded the names of three of its representatives for the proposed National Conference to the Federal Government.

In the list is Chief Charles Edosomwan (SAN), a former Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice in Edo state.

Edosomwan, who is from Edo South senatorial district, emerged through the Benin Forum, an umbrella body of all Binis, in the country and the Diaspora.

Others are Prof. Eddy Erhagbe (Edo North) and Prof. Sylvanus Oboh (Edo Central).

It will be recalled that Governor Adams Oshiomhole had, last year, expressed his concern over the success of the conference but said the people of the state would be well represented at the conference.

Enunuedo group is led by Dr Samuel Ogbemudia. The Benin Forum is led by the Esogban of Benin Kingdom, Chief David Edebiri. The Afemai group, from Edo North senatorial district and the Esans have all made their presentations ahead of the proposed conference.
