People’s Promotional Organisation, PPO, has called on the Ijaws in Delta, Bayelsa states and other Nigerians to join them in celebrating President Goodluck Jonathan’s achievements in the implementation of his transformation agenda.

Director-General of PPO, Deacon Arede Edeinmene, said this while outlining events scheduled for December 23, in Warri, “to strengthen the cultural ties and foster unity amongst Ijaws of Delta and Bayelsa states and bringing to the grassroots the achievements of Mr. President in the last two and half years.”

It added that the event will chaired by Chief Diepreye Alamieyeseigha, while the Special Adviser to the President on Niger Delta Affairs and Chairman Presidential Amnesty Programme, Mr. Kingsley Kuku, will deliver the keynote address.
