WARRI—President Goodluck Jonathan and Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan have been commended for successfully completing the Memorandum of Understanding, MoU, with Julius Berger Nigeria and the Ugborodo community for the take-off of the multi-billion dollar petrochemical and fertilizer projects at Ogidigben in Warri South Local Government Area of Delta State.

National Youth Secretary of Ugborodo community and member of Escravos Export Processing Zone, EPZ, Monitoring Committee set up by Governor Uduaghan to facilitate the smooth take–off of the project, Mr. Bawo Emami, gave the commendation, weekend, in Warri.

He admonished any contractor engaged in the project execution to handle its job with all the seriousness it deserved.

Emami, who also commended the management of Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC, for facilitating the MoU with the host community, applauded their diligence, assuring that with Julius Berger’s mobilization to site to kick-start the project, Ugborodo people and host communities were eagerly awaiting the President to do the ground breaking ceremony.

The youth leader maintained that there were no security challenges to the entire project.
