LAGOS — THE Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director, Bank of Industry, BOI, Ms. Evelyn Oputu, will, tomorrow, deliver the keynote address at the fifth edition of Women on Wellness, WOW, holding in Lagos.

Ms. Oputu will speak on Opportunities to Financial Wellness: Building Financial Capacity as a Valued Health Model, in an edition themed Rediscovery.

This year’s edition, which holds at the Intercontinental Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos, “is poised to bring on the WOW factor through a rediscovery expose.”

The event, divided into two segments, will have a seminar in the morning and awards gala in the evening.

Ms. Oputu will join other seasoned professionals from the United States, the United Kingdom and Nigeria to educate guests and provide free consultations on issues that are relevant for today’s woman and man during the WOW seminar that kicks off by 9am.

Others billed to speak at the event include USA-based Dr. Don Ogu, who will speak on Managing Your Sleep: A Necessity for Optimal Health, Cognitive Functioning and Emotional Health; Dr. Aham Onyike, Orthopaedic Wellness: the Desirability of Health Habits for Improved Condi-tions of the Musculoskeletal System, and Dr. Abayomi Ajayi of Nordica Fertility Centre, Lagos, Family Wellness: Inspiring New Perspectives in Holistic Healthy Lifestyles for Family Wellness.

Other speakers include Dr. Chukwuemeka Onyewu, Reconstructive/Cosmetic Surgery: Exploiting Minimally Invasive Approaches in Aesthetic and Reconstructive Health and Wellness; Ms. Eryca Freemantle, Reconstructive Make-up, Fitness and Living Well.

Award winning London-based fashion designer, Adebayo Jones, will add spice to the event when he speaks on Image, Style and Fashion: Minding the Gap.

Established in 2008, the WOW seminar, put together by Allure Vanguard was instituted to create a platform to engage women and provide relevant information with a view to bridging the gap between women and wellness by engendering total development of women through public enlightenment programmes and discourse of salient issues that affect women and men.
