Akure—POLICE authorities have dismissed a police Corporal, Adegboro Kayode, who shot and killed a truck driver, Friday Igbinedion, in Benin-Ore road last month.

Kayode had on August 9 shot the truck driver, who was driving an unregistered vehicle.

Confirming the dismissal of Kayode, the image-maker of the state Police Command, Wole Ogodo, said six policemen were at the police post when the incident happened.

Ogodo, however, said that it was later discovered that it was Corporal Kayode that shot the deceased.
